In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to make the most of the AnswerThis Library, from adding papers to extracting key data with ease.
Step 1: Save Papers from Your Literature Review
Found a useful research paper while generating a literature review? Click “Save to Library” to store it for future reference. Your library keeps all relevant sources in one place, eliminating the need for manual tracking.
Step 2: Upload Your Own Research Papers
Have existing PDFs on your computer? Click Upload New Papers to add them to your AnswerThis Library. This feature allows you to integrate previously collected research into the AnswerThis ecosystem.
Step 3: Import Research from External Tools
Using Zotero, Mendeley, or another reference manager? AnswerThis makes it easy to import your existing research database directly into the library, ensuring you don’t have to start from scratch.
Step 4: Extract Key Findings & Methodologies
Once a paper is in your library, you can extract essential details with a single click:
Select a Paper from your collection.
Click Extract Data and choose an option (e.g., Key Findings or Methodology).
Click Add Column, and AnswerThis will automatically extract the requested information.
Repeat the process for additional insights, such as research gaps, study conclusions, and more.
Step 5: Organize and View Your Research Data
Toggle between different viewing modes:
List View, See all your papers in an easy-to-navigate list.
Table View, Organize extracted data in structured columns for quick analysis.
You can also sort papers by author, relevance, or other criteria to find the right studies when you need them.
Step 6: Format Citations Instantly
AnswerThis makes citation management effortless:
Click on the Citation Formatting box.
Select a preferred style (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
Watch as all your sources instantly update to match your chosen citation format.
